Responsibilities:

• You will join the team as a Data Scientist to conduct statistical analyses and evaluate large data sets in our Hong Kong office. You will be responsible for the analytical process from task definition to analysis modeling and interpretation of results.
• The work will be project oriented, you will gain insights into many industries and into management topics. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious and committed to constantly improving their own skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Physics/ Information System or any discipline with strong quantitative elements are preferred
• 6+ years experience on Data & Analytics, with at least 3 years in delivery experience for statistical modelling and data science related works
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning techniques – e.g., logistic regression, random forest, support vector machine, cluster analysis, KNN, naive Bayes, dimensionality reduction, Bayesian methods and time series modelling
• Hand-on scripting and programming experience with at least two of the following common data science tools: Python, R, SQL, Matlab or Scala
• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or text mining is preferred
• A data-oriented mind-set, enjoy facing new challenges and learn new data science technology skills
• Strong communication skills with capability of translating business requirement into technical needs and articulating technical concepts or results to non-technical audience
• Flexible and adaptive to work either independently or lead remote development teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proven project management skills including planning, designing and shaping project work streams, managing progress, resolving issues and limiting risks
• Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
• Good English language skills and Mandarin skills are strongly preferred
