Our Client is A HK-listed Conglomerate。
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, review and monitor system flow, accounting and control policies according to the statutory guidelines and business requirements.
- Ensure financial control is maintained and efficiencies are achieved with existing financial system, processes and procedures, including internal control, risk management, corporate governance requirement.
- Ensure the proper check and balance mechanism is in place across the entire finance operations.
- Establish internal process to assess market/ industry/ product risk. Review, develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Monitor the compliance of the implemented risk management policies and procedures.
- Establish risk and control matrix for monitoring the effectiveness of business / operational process and mitigate / reduce business risk.
- Provide recommendations on improving internal controls, maximizing operational efficiency, streamlining business processes and mitigating any identified risk.
- Responsible for credit control planning to monitor receivable aging and bad debts situation. Perform credit assessment to existing and new credit application.
- Work with BUs to develop mechanisms for controlling stocks in order to minimize warehousing, aging of stocks and other stockholding costs, while maintaining an adequate level of stock to meet usage requirements.
- Review regularly with BUs to ensure full compliance with Corporate and legal requirements in Internal Control, Credit Control and Stock Control aspects.
- Provide training and coaching to BUs to strengthen financial control culture.
Requirements:
- CPA + Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Min 15 years of relevant experience in audit and controllership;
- Industry and operation exposure is required;
- Hands-on experience in balance sheet ownership and knowledgeable in ERM, credit control, reporting control, fixed asset control
- Strong technical accounting and familiar with Hong Kong and PRC accounting standards;
- Excellent coordination, supervisory and management skills;
- Good communication and sound analytical skills
