Our client is A Leading International Insurance Firm.

Position Overview:         

•                 To develop and execute the business and underwriting strategy and to continuously building a long-term relationship with the life agents and brokers. To lead the Business Development Team to provide the effective solutions to the distribution channels to further explore the business opportunities and to achieve the business goals.

Responsibilities:              

•                 Design and execute the business strategy in order to drive more business and to generate more profitability to the company and to compliment the life agents and other distribution channels to cross sell and upsell the General Insurance & Employee Benefits products

•                 Oversee the business portfolio in collaboration with other teams within PGHK such as Claims & Policy Administration Teams to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the business

•                 Formulate and execute business development and underwriting strategy to ensure it is in alignment with the company’s overall strategy and to minimize the risk areas throughout the underwriting process

•                 Continuously building a strong and long-term relationship with the distribution channels (agents and brokers) by providing efficient and high quality customer services to achieve business goals

•                 Understand the market trend and customers’ needs through the collection and analysis of the market intelligence

Requirements:  

•                 Degree or Diploma graduate with professional qualifications in general insurance (ACII or ANZIIF)

•                 Min 12 years of working experiences with at least 5 years in supervisory level

•                 Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

•                 Experience in multi-distribution channels, life agency in particular

•                 Exposure in development personal lines and SMEs insurance business

•                 Underwriting skill in General Insurance and / or Employee Benefits products
