Our client is A leading Fashion & Footwear Retail Chain in Hong Kong

Job Summary：

• Reporting to Finance Director, the incumbent will assume full responsibility for driving business improvement projects, reviewing various contracts, formulating company policies and procedures and ensuring good internal control environment and ensuring legal compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving business improvement projects, supporting standardization, automation and workflow improvement in Hong Kong and PRC
• Supporting Financial Controller to review and upgrade the company’s operation systems and its implementation so as to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Review the internal control procedures in order to safeguard company assets and ensure proper authorization for business activities
• Ensure compliance with external and internal policies, rules and regulations. Implement processes/controls to cope with regulatory changes
• Review Hong Kong contracts (including leasing contracts, sales contracts, office supplies contracts, banking documentation, etc)
• Assist the Finance Director on any other ad hoc projects 

Requirements:

• University graduate with professional accounting qualification
• At least 15 years relevant experience within which 5 years should be at management level, experience in retail environment & PRC environment; exposure in Big-4 audit firm is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of legislative requirements and Finance best practices; Solid and hand-on experience to handle legal compliance & contract review matters (including leasing contracts, sales contracts, office supplies contracts, banking documentation, etc). Company Secretarial and relevant legal training qualification is definitely an advantage
• Strong technical knowledge in Hong Kong & PRC accounting standards and taxation regulations, Good working knowledge on consolidation accounting, financial control management and planning
• Strong analytical skills and problems solving abilities, independent thinking with a critical mindset. Passion to drive efficiency; Hand-on experience on SAP & Hyperion is definitely an advantage
• A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadline
