Our client is A Leading Hospitality Group in Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and edit Chinese correspondence, speeches and messages for senior management
- Provide Chinese language and editorial services to support Corporate / Business needs through preparation of apothegms, reports, press release, articles, public statements, promotional, publicity and other write-ups in Chinese
- Assistant in the production of corporate publications including annual reports and language support to corporate platforms such as websites / social media
- Translate various kinds of corporate documents from English to Chinese
- Help prepare and maintain the Chinese writing style guide and develop staff on the use of Chinese Language
- Be required to work outside normal working hours and meet tight deadlines from time to time; and occasional travels to the Mainland may be needed
Requirements:
- A bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Chinese writing, including 5 years’ experience in news and / or public relations writing
- Excellent Chinese writing, editing and communication skills
- Well-versed in Hong Kong / Mainland Chinese writing styles and Traditional / Simplified Chinese usages
- Proven track record in preparing and vetting corporate documents including management speeches
- Good English language ability
- Good media and political sense, sensitive to public opinions / current affairs
- Good understanding of Mainland political and social environment
